Local Renewable Energy Planning (Delaware, mid-Atlantic region)

A multi-year grant and federal support has enabled students and faculty to develop annual plans for innovative renewable energy projects in Delaware and the mid-Atlantic region. Aimed at spurring innovative uses of solar, wind, geothermal and other renewables, the program includes planning for projects in national and state parks, agricultural applications, educational institutions, and public sector uses, as well as encouraging renewables as part of green building initiatives in the area.
